Song Released: 2011
I Won't Let Go Lyrics
That cuts a path
It's breaks your will
It feels like that
You think you're lost
But your not lost on your own
You're not alone
I will stand by you
I will help you through
When you've done all you can do
If you...

My wife introduced me to this song a few months before our wedding, and it struck me with such a sense of how much I loved and cared for her, and visa versa. It brings me almost to tears everytime I hear it, because we cant be together all the time, for I serve our country as a Sailor in the USN. It was our first dance, and I was trembling as I held her so dearly in my arms, till the very last note of that song. I think this song will forever pluck at my heart-strings till the end of time.

Jason Sellers and Steve Robson wrote the song together. Robson had begun the song already when he and Sellers got together to write it. Sellers told Country Weekly that he thought Robson's existing lyrics were "inspired", and thought that he would write a song with an "uplifting lyric". He said they intentionally did not define the song's character, so that the message could be applicable in various different situations: "This could be something you'd say to someone in the family that's a soldier, fighting overseas… or to your mom, dad, wife or husband[…]I felt it could also be God saying it to someone."[

The day my grandson was born I promised him I would always be there for him.It took someone like Rascal Flatts to put how I feel in my heart into words and music.I will never let go... I will always be there for him... I will fight for him. He is now 19 and I have never let go.

When I hear this song, no matter how many times it reminds me of my husband, when I almost died, I needed Heart Surgery. He stood by me, and I saw the look on his face like th

I heard this song when i was going though a rough seperation with my soon to be ex-wife. I had a special woman walk into my life and she has stood beside me and not let me down. When I thought happiness was a made up word she proved me wrong. I think it is about finding that special someone and them finding you and never wanting to let them go.

I think this would be a great song for St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. They stand buy every child both financially and medically. I took a tour and it was the most awesome place I have ever seen!!

my dad passed away a year ago, my mother 10yrs ago...when I heard this song my first thought was this was them, never letting go, always being there...it makes me realise that no matter what...there is someone there for me..

I imagine that the lyrics of this song are exactly what God would tell us if He were sitting right there with us during our times of trouble. The same words are echoed all throughout the Bible that are found in this song. Who knows what the real meaning behind the song is. That's the beauty of music: it takes on so many meanings for all of us. God bless everyone who has struggles in their life.

This song has great meaning to me right now. I am an addict who is going thru the beginning of recovery. I went to my first meeting today and every person there made me feel like this. I listen to it over and over and it makes me cry but also makes me feel better.

I sent this to my mother not even a week before passed. To tell her I will always be there no matter what as she was battling cancer. And I still will no matter how far she is from me.
LOVE YOU MOM. -
The meaning of this song means a lot to me because of the April 27, 2011 tornadoes that came through Alabama. Our local new stations made several videos with pictures from the storm, and the song was "I Won't Let Go." Every time I hear it, I want to cry, because I see pictures of the destruction in my head. To me it is saying that we will make it through, and we will be OK. He is standing by us, and is going to help us through.

I believe this song can have many different meanings. If you listen to the words and you're going through ANY difficult time in your life, you can relate! I believe it's letting you know, no matter how "dark" it is at the moment, the Lord is there for you!! Keep the faith and you'll make it through!! God Bless to everyone in your difficult time!!

My grandma passed away in April and this song was the only thing that truly pulled my entire family through. It was played at the funeral, it is truly a remarkable song that just says everything. This song has helped heal me and make the pain lessened. I am IN LOVE with this song<3

I just feel that it has to be for someone, as it has a great meaning and it has to be for someone that a person would love and wanted to help in whatever they might be going thru, and it could be sickness or worse, they could be dying. I love it to pieces and I hope he will one day let us know why he wrote it. He is one great singer and person. love all of his music. A great lover of the Rascal Flatt's songs.
