Unsatisfying sex where both are unhappy and trying things that they might think will help but ultimately are not helping/unsatisfying. Tired and naked I think has 2 meanings: literally tired and naked (not satiated or satisfied, just tired and physically naked) AND tired as in emotionally tired of the situation and naked as in feeling exposed maybe? All "veneer" gone. Just plain, raw. Maybe was expecting more "underneath" but there just isn't anymore (like "it is what it is" type thing). No big tragic reason so much as what used to work isn't working anymore and is unsure how to make it work again or if he even wants to. Doesn't know what he wants (could be sexually, emotionally, in life, etc).
