Savatage: I Am Meaning
I Am Lyrics
-
I believe this song was a direct definition of S. Milosevic. Jon was singing the lyrics regarding a leader who regardless of consequences or death believes he and his beliefs are not wrong and he wants to control all of Yugoslavia. Like Milosevic did with his ethnic cleansing war against Kosovo and Bosnia. Amazing how this song is powerfully appropriate to today’s struggles in the Ukraine. Because “I see a little man (Putin) thinking that he might need more so his eyes drifted to the house next door “. Putin thinks that he is the answer that the Ukrainians seek. And he is definitely the “dream in their sleep they never wanted to awaken “. The lyrics in this song can be about any despot here in the States or anywhere else in the world that believes that at any cost they are right and everyone either agrees with them or they can be crushed. Truly great insight into the mind of a megalomaniac with power or perhaps a nuclear weapon.
