Savatage: She's In Love Meaning
She's In Love Lyrics
Starts to drop to her knees
Gazing with an appetite
Licks her lips in sheer delight
She's one of a kind
A sight for sore eyes
It's all the needs to be happy
I bet she never knew
It would taste so good
No she's...

Let's hear some insight on Hall of the Mountain King and such. Remember fans, Criss, although gone now, ironically killed on his way to Livestock Festival here in Fla., he was the heart of the band. Although born in New Jersey as far as I know, and having gained fame via the Tampa circuit, I had always heard Savatage had origins in Buffalo. Can anyone elaborate upon this? I am from near Tampa. so I saw them many times in their early days. I always made a special trip to whatever "dive" they were playing at. Tampa's 95WYNF rock radio station(now gone) used to love them too. Gave them plenty of air time. Great band, and great loss concerning Criss Oliva.

It's nice to see some Savatage info. on here. I uesd to see them regularly around the Tampa area until the car crash that changed everything with them. Hoe about some insight on songs like 24 hours ago and Out on the Streets?

In the words of Jon Oliva, Savatage's lead singer and co-founder:
"The lyrics are very sarcastic and are totally the opposite of what people would expect looking at the title. It certainly is not a love song. On the contrary, the lyrics are purely sexual, almost mean maybe. The main character is a woman who isn't in love with a specific person, but with a certain part of that person's body, and the fact that she is partial to taking that body part into her mouth. It obviously is not about any particular woman, but about a certain group of women that really deserve being made fun of. We all know who we mean here. The lyrics absolutely aren't perverse or anti-woman. It's just a funny story about things that happen in this world."
