Song for the Asking Lyrics
Ask me and I will play
So sweetly, I'll make you smile
This is my tune for the taking
Take it, don't turn away
I've been waiting all my life
Thinking it over, I've been sad
Thinking it over, I'd be more than...

It is a song which I believe is about a love for someone or something you lost and really is an allegory of all humanities need to be wanted and loved by someone or something.
The last short verse is poignant:-
“Ask me and I will play........All the love that I hold inside.”
I think the song should continue to describe the love that is inside all of us who have lost someone or something. -
Here is my song. It goes like a three-four time, so it is kind of different. You some more, go down yourself, you lazy boy. You, you lazy boy, a Jamcian once told me.
