Sixx:A.M.: Accidents Can Happen Meaning
Song Released: 2008
Accidents Can Happen Lyrics
It takes aawhile
I have seen this look before
And it's alright
You're not alone
If you don't love this anymore
I hear that you've slipped again
I'm here cause I know you'll need a friend
And you know
That accidents can...
-
the meaning of the song is say you are trying to quit smoking, drugs or even trying to lose weight.
it means that accidents can happen and you can make a mistake and have a cheat but do not let it ruin everything, get back on track. -
It's about relapse. And like all of us addicts who's trying to get clean knows that sometime you relapse ("slip") but you must never think that its now all over but admit that these things happen and never stop and stay to worry about it that it's now all over. Because it's easy to think like that because it gives you an excuse to forget about your recovery and to shoot even more junk. I hope you understood all this.. I'm from Finland so sorry my bad English
-
It seems like they are talking about is that we all make mistakes (obviously). Where it says "Take some time and learn to breathe
And remember what it means
To feel alive
And to believe
Something more than what you see
I know there's a price for this
But some things in life you must resist."
It could be talking about someone struggling with suicide or depression. And the last line of the song "So don't give up
It takes a while." May be referring to that life is hard but you can't give up on it
