    this song is about how we Idolize those in the media and want to be like them. these people, however, are fake, and lie because they have to change themselves to be what they wanna be. Nikki says to "run and hide from the lies of the beautiful people." because he understands that the world is ugly, but you have to be happy with what you have, and not desperately want to be like people who are fake.
