Soundgarden: Live To Rise Meaning
Song Released: 2012
Live To Rise Lyrics
Could fit into the center of our hand?
Then you found it wasn't you
Who held the sum of everything you knew
We're insane but not alone,
You hold on and let go
Like the sun we will live to rise
Like the sun we...
-
This interpretation is wrong
Like the SUN we will live to rise
Stars explode and reform
Giving a second chance
We hold on to life
We let go of life
We live we die
We rise again
All thats really important
Is to enjoy life
Warm your face
Warm the face of others
Cherish friends , family , strangers..
Hold on
Let go
Repeat
Very simple
Not the religious dogma un the description explained by the person writing the article

SOUND GARDEN "LIVE TO RISE THIS IS THE OFFICIAL SONG OF THE AVENGERS MOVIE. THE AVENGERS BEING THE COLLECTION OF GENETICALLY ALTERED MARK OF THE BEAST HUMANS AND FALLEN ANGELS(Thor)&(Loki) THAT WILL GATHER TOGETHER AT THE BATTLE OF THE ARMAGEDDON TO FACE SEVERAL MENTIONS IN THE MOVIE TO AVENGING THE EARTH, OR (Gaia) SPIRIT AGAINST THE GALACTIC THREAT(JESUS CHRIST) AGAIN THE SONG IS COMPLETELY ABOUT SUN WORSHIP, THE RELIGION OF THE ILLUMINATI OF COURSE RELATED TO SATANISM YOU CAN SEE ALL THE APOCALYPTIC IMAGERY THAT WAS IN BLACK HOLE SUN AGAIN BEING PLAYED IN THIS ENORMOUSLY POPULAR MOVIE FRANCHISE. I DID THIS EXERCISE TO JUST SHOW THE DIFFERENCE THAT ACCURS WHEN YOU CAN SEE AND HEAR WHAT REALLY GOING ON IN THE SATANICALLY SPIRITUALLY RUN SYSTEM OF THE WORLD EVEN MORE REASON TO PRAY THAT GOD'S KINGDOM IS ESTABLISHED ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN TO FINALLY BE DONE WITH ALL THIS EVIL.

I love this song, love the movie. This song is about fighting with a group, and saying you'll fight side by side, like the avengers. If one goes down, the others won't leave him.

When I first heard this song at the end of the Avengers movie I didn't have the lyrics in front of me. So for me when I heard the chorus I heard:
Like the Son, we will live to rise
Like the Son, we will live and die and then ignite again
This song spoke right to me about my beliefs. This life we are living is a test. And our final destiny, for all of us, will be to die, and then we will all find out how we did on the test.
At the beginning the song talks about all that we know fitting into the palm of a hand. What each of us knows is a puny, paltry thing when compared against the vastness of God. And yet who is it that is the knower?
Ultimately we are all a part of this cosmic creation. Our bodies, our thoughts and feelings, the air, the earth, the heavens. Every atom and every thought. And yet that only just touches the surface. God is omniscient and omni-present. He is all there is. And we come to the realization that we are not the knower but He who is in each of us as a witnessing presence. He is within us as the Knower. This is our true Self. In this life we are here to learn to surrender to this knower within us so that we may come to know God. To come to know Christ consciousness within us and to trust and surrender completely to His will. Surrender to the Spirit within us and let It guide us to Truth.
We are all fallen from our true Selves. But we have a Savior who never fell but was perfect from his birth to His death. He showed us how to live a perfect life, a life of pure surrender. He was completely surrendered to the will of the Father. His will and the Father’s will are one. We to are called to let the Spirit live through us. Christ consciousness with in us. To come to know Christ, to know God. And at the end of our lives, we too are called to surrender our all as Christ surrendered His all. We come to know that God is all. God is. And we are a piece of that. And standing behind our Savior he covers our past sin and leads us to a new life, with Him, and without sin. Holy. We let His holiness fill us as pure light. Ignition, resurrection to a new life. Jesus is the answer to the test, and with the answer comes our destiny, our true destiny:
Like the Son, we will live to rise
Like the Son, we will live and die and then ignite again
