System of a Down: Kill Rock 'n Roll Meaning
Song Released: 2006
Kill Rock 'n Roll Lyrics
felt like the biggest asshole!
when I killed your rock and roll.
Mow down the sexy people!
Every time I look in your eyes,
every day I'm watching you die.
All the faults I see in you, about how...
-
On most parts I agree wit the top rated submission, however I have always fel the "eat all the grass that you want" was him feeling guilty about killing the rabbit and he wants it to come back alive and eat grass. Such as a young boy killing a bird with a slingshot and trying to get it to fly again.

I think that every SOAD song has multiple meanings, and are simply for enjoyment of the listener, not to really have a straight-forward message in the song.
-
If you were a real music artist you would know that a lot of musicians write of experiences just to get it off their chest or its inspiration

First in, best dressed?
First in, correct, in this case.
In multiple interview daron has told of the rabbit, and yes, he did run it over at night.
'mow down the sexy people...'
even famous celebrities and people like that can make mistakes? Man, I'm stuck on this one. -
I think:
"eat all the grass that you want, accidents happen in the dark" means"live your life to the fullest, you could die at any moment."
like how he killed the rabbit randomly, he hoped it had enjoyed it's life. -
Dude, I watched an interveiw with daron where he said it was about the rabbit. No-one has actually hit the nail on the head yet. He ran over the rabbit - true, but straight after he saw a second rabbit starring at him like he knew what daron had done. This explains 'every time I look in your eyes, every day I'm watching you die
all the thoughts I see in you about how i'
also the grass has a double meaning as daron was high at the time he ran over the rabbit and it also represents daron almost talking to the rabbit, begging for forgiveness. 'mow down' (run over) 'the sexy people' (rabbits= bunny's, playboy bunny)
thats pretty much it... And it is the actual meaning, from daron's mouth alone -
Daron has said himself in many interviews that he had a rabbit that he had found and named it "rock'n roll" and he ran it over on accident and felt horrible and so he wrote that song because he killed "rock 'n roll" that song has nothing to do with the music rock and roll it is in fact about a rabbit
-
I know at the beginning of the live version he says this:
"when I was a young boy I used to talk to god, and I said ' you motherf***er' and he said ' you motherf***er are gonna kill rock and roll and **** all the sexy people' so I did"
not really an intrepretaion but might help you understand it better -
I think it's about drug use, and how he killed one girl's rock'n'roll when he was doing some of it. The chorus is from the girl's point of view. "Eat all the grass" part is referring to that he will miss the dawn, and what would of happened (accidents happen - sarcasm). So he felt like the biggest asshole...
The rabbit is a metaphore for all I can think of... I have just listened to the live recording of this song, where before the song he says that he must kill rock'n'roll in order to f*ck all the sexy people. -

In an AC/DC mocking voice they tell you to go ahead and eat all the grass that you want while you are alive. Go ahead and be greedy. When you die and go to your hell, in the dark, accidents happen. You will be "accidently" violated from all directions in oblivion for eternity for being an oversexed sinful being. (Let the rabbits wear glasses)
