Somebody Else Lyrics
And at first I thought it was a lie
I took all my things that make sounds
The rest I can do without
I don't want your body

It's about a teenager falling in love, it has references to the song robbers from their first album. He falls deeply in love with her, it also has references to the song change of heart. They go through a struggle in the relationship and the relationship ends. The song somebody else is about him getting over the he lost the love of his life. He's to intoxicated to know what's happening and wants going on. The beginning of the video has a bunch of references to Change of heart and robbers. It's a big love triangle.

I think this song is about a guy who couldn't believe his lover already found somebody else. Although he knows that things between them already ended it will crush his heart to see her be with somebody else. 3

I think this song is about a guy who has ended things with his girl. Although he doesn't want her any more, he doesn't want her to be with anyone else either. Initially when he hears that she has met someone else he thinks it is a lie for attention, he can't comprehend that she has ACTUALLY met someone else.

I feel that this interpretation is pretty straight forward, at least in my eyes. In this song, Matty talks about his lover and how he wasn't good enough, hence his lover leaving him. He realizes this and talks about how he misses her, wishing her good luck and giving her new love a wish of love as well..
