Robbers Lyrics

She had a face straight outta magazine
God only knows but you'll never leave her
Her balaclava is starting to chafe
And when she gets his gun he's begging, "Babe, stay, stay, stay, stay, stay."

I'll give you one more time
We'll give you...

It's a love song about two lovers who are 'robbing' each others hearts. He absolutely thinks she's beautiful and loves her, yet he pulls away from her. (When she's leaving your home she's begging you, "Stay, stay, stay, stay, stay.")

However, when she tries to break it off he refuses it (I'll give you one more time
We'll give you one more fight
    Just said one more line
There'll be a riot, 'cause I know you)

Then, she has him on her knees ("Well, now that you've got your gun." He begs her to reveal herself. ("Take off your mask.")

Finally, both of them end up broken ("Now everybody is dead.")

The song is based on the film "True Romance" in some way (Matty Healy lead singer said) has some lines like "Now everybody is dead" is referring to the end of the film when everybody died but them (the lovers) continues alive and like just them matter, just them survive, just they love survive. The song is kinda contradictory in a good way, they love each other but they hate each other.
