   I hate to ruin it all for you but while growing up in high school while trying new things out one of the memebers of the band hooked up with someone of the same sex for a while and even kept it going on while they dated girls until they could deside which was better sorta getting the best of both worlds I guess you could say but since it was easy to have memebers of the same sex over more often for sleep overs it was easier to keep it going but if the other spoke of the horrid acts it was all over just a big regreat that to this day they will still keep as a dirty little secret

   Although, a lot of people say this song isn't about cheating because of the video I think it is. Like the begining says let me know that I've done wrong when I've known this all alot..I think that means he is cheating on someone and so is she and a lot of people know except for their girlfriend/boyfriend and people keep telling them it's wrong but neither one really cares..and the 'just another regret' is like if the people find out then I guess it was good while it lasted but now we have to face it...but that's just my opinion..

    I agree with the earlier posts, I think it is about a girl that he wants to keep a secret, but I also think (If you watch the video, you might see this) that it is showing that everyone has their own "dirty little secret" and he wants her to be his.

    This song is obviously about a guy whos with a girl but he doesn't want anyone to know (I'll keep you my dirty little secret) and he wants her to keep a secret too (don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret).

    So umm, I don't know if the other persons interpretation was right or what cause it kinda sounds like they got that informations some where. I don't know?
    Anyways I always thought the song meant that some girl was his "dirty little secret" but he didn't want anyone to know about her because then it wouldn't be fun anymore. ("just another regret")

    This song was written first because the lead of the band had some secrets as a child that were pretty dirty, then when the music was added to it it turned into quite a fun song. The video is great!
