If You Could See Me Now Lyrics
(Oh if you could see me now)
It was February 14 Valentine's Day
The roses came but they took you away
Tattooed on my arm is a charm to disarm all the harm
Gotta keep myself calm but the truth is you're...
-
I am not sure what is the interpretation, but I heard this song on February 16th 2018 after my parents died. My father on February 14th and my mother on February 15th. I never cried so much in my life. It is about a man who lost his parents and want them to see him on his journey. I felt my dad was talking to me when I heard this song from the heavens.

how a mans parents died recently and he became famous soon after. the part "i still look for your face in the crowd" means he keeps for getting that he died and that's what happens when someone close to you dies. but since he says that you might think "well his parents died while he was famous." well that's not the case. the line "would you stand in disgrace or take a bow" proves that. it means he doesn't know how they would react. they were probably unpredictable. the begining lines means that they died on feb. 14. and that they had roses with them when they died. his parents were cruel to him on they died based on the line"put your hand on the heart that was cold as the day you were taken away"
-
I think this song is about a guy whose parents have passed away. He is doing really well in life and is thinking oh if you could see me now. He wished they were there.

This song is about a man missing his parents and wishing they could see him with his fame and his success and is wondering on what they wouldthink of him. I think his parents died before he was successful. The line "Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow, oh if you could see me now" means he doesn't really know what they would think of him so he wishes they were there. It'sa tragic song that has a lot of meaning to it.
