    I think its referring to the girl cheating on him and how that obvisouly can be relationship "suicide" because that would mean the end/death of a relationship and he wants to try to stop before she does the cheating.

    Throughout the song, the speaker is using suicide as a metaphor for the girl leaving him, and he is referring to the fact that maybe he can "talk her down", in other words persuade her not to jump, or to leave him.

    I’m a grade fiver and I think this so is about if you love someone and they love you back but you break up and you never stop loving them and their forgetting you to never stop trying to win them back.
