This song hits me as though it's talking about us as christians being witnesses and making a change in the world. "Excuse me while I light up the sky" kinda talking about being a shining light and being a big difference.

The only meaning I have for this song on the 'Faith is a rebel' part. I believe it means that since we are christians living in a non-christian world we need to be 'rebels' and do the right thing and follow God.
