Cancer Lyrics

Turn away
If you could get me a drink
Of water 'cause my lips are chapped and faded

And bury me in all my favorite colors
My sisters and my brothers, still
I will not kiss you

I bet a 15 year old girl going through cancer myself. My dad just happens to also being going through cancer with me. This song has so many interpretations for me. This song touches deep down because it basically describes what I have been going through. I like ve this song. It's my go to song when I just wanna curl up in a ball and die. I listen to it everytime I'm sad.

Well just because 21 pilots sang the same song as my Chemical romance dosent mean that they cant have a different meaning to it. After all, they are different singers with different ways of thinking.

This song isnt literally talking about someone who has cancer hes talking about himself him being something horrible and uncurable and how he "will not kiss you"meaning that he will never love himself and he maybe has suicidal thoughts because hes saying that "the hardest part of this is leaving you" so hes implying that the hardest part of him commiting suicide is leaving the people he loves behind.

I love this song. I have a member that is going through cancer. I hope if I play this song it will make her feel better. And if I have a chance I will sing it to her and shave my head so I will make them feel special enough. That I care

This song is honestly feckin awesome. It has a very good melody and is very catchy. the original song by My Chemical Romance is good but 21 pilots made it even better in my opinion. cancer (the song and actual disease) is very heavy and makes you think. the song makes you feel a bit down about it.

Originally by My Chemical Romance, but I think Tyler might have chosen this song because one of his family members have gone through or are going through cancer, or maybe just because he thought it was a meaningful song, which it is.

I think it's about how a family member of his has cancer or some type of disease and its from that family member's perspective. Its probably a really close family member thats dying from the disease (cancer)-- i. E. Mother or father-- which is why one of the lines says something like the hardest part is leaving you. Tbh I love this song, it has a great melody and great lyrics an all together quite catchy. Shout out to you josh and tyler!!!!!
