Twenty One Pilots: Glowing Eyes Meaning
Glowing Eyes Lyrics
Culture forbids,
We have romantic fantasies about what dying truly is,
Fall off the grid.
We live for the night's decor,
It reveals what we dream of.
I know there's...

#1 top rated interpretation:I think it's about him being suicidal.
The night shows what we dream of- is connotations to the darkness that he feels and in the dark we often see things that aren't really there so I think it reflects that.
also the "what I know I must let go" I think its an actual knife as this song is sang in the perspective of him having just cut himself.
When he hear's someone call for help too, I don't think it someone wanting his help, I think is someone trying to get to him in the room he's in as they have guessed what he's done as he's done this before and - I must let go of what I know, again is the knife. They know what he's capable of.
The glowing eyes is easily explained too. When you lose blood and consciousness you eyesight blurs and you see dots of lights. The eyes he connects to the fuzzy feeling he's body is probably feeling from having lost blood.
However the sun is coming up and because of this he can see light other then the dots in his vision . See the sun he realises he doesn't want to do this, and suddenly he realises his mistake. That why at the end he suddenly starts screaming about making them stop, as he's probably hearing a fuzzing sound in his ears. I honestly think this is what the songs about. Hope you agree or are happy with this . I told my friend this and she was blown away and saw it. -
Like a lot of people I think it’s about being suicidal and depression. I also think that the glowing eyes are like our brains telling us what we are doing is ok. They are encouraging him to stay with them. But he’s trying hold on to what he knows and stay alive. He’s realizing that they are bad and doesn’t know how to stop them so he screams out asking people to make them stop.

I kind of interpret this as about getting better. Like when you're depressed for so long, getting help can be terrifying, you don't know who you'll be after you're better, and it's just so much easier to stay in your own dark thoughts (Or room in the song) And listen to the glowing eyes (Your inner demons) I'm probably wrong, but it's my intrpritation

Yeah this is about Tyler being suicidal
-
My girlfriend and I are at an impasse she thinks he's suicidal because of the lyrics, but I think he knows somebody who is threatening to kill themselves if he doesn't stop being famous. Thinking about it more and more I can't decide which interpretation fits better any insight would be appreciated

Someone's trying to help him out of a dark room full of his demons aka his mind or depression. But Tyler isn't sure he wants to leave the demons and go to this person, and this person is trying to ask Tyler to help himself as well? Idk might be a bunch of crap but idk - E

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I think it talks about wanting to be left alone in your own negative thoughts and forgetting responsibilities. That's the basic thing.
