All Your Lies Lyrics

Pay attention, pay attention, pay attention please.
He who lusts through life for excess in this world.
Dies a lonely man, careless of his soul.
Throwing caution to the wind with foolish ignorance.
You're full of pride.
Full of pride.
Full...

I've always thought it was about religion. Whether they meant it to be or not it is to me. Its all a lie

The song could be about the rich crooked politicians, bankers, and heads of big companies striving for more and getting it on the backs of regular everyday people or also could be about regular everyday people making crooked deals trying to get ahead by ill practices without a care about who they might hurt or step on to get there. Always concerned about the monetary gain instead of living a good life loving and with a clear conscience.

While The Autumn Effect seemed to have a heavy drug theme to it, Division seems to have a lot about religion.

I think this song is about blind religiosity and the almost predatory nature of corrupt churches.

    - "The parasite's host never even knows. Pull the wool over our eyes". Religion is like a parasite which infests the human mind, and the hosts are oblivious to how their faith inhibits their world view.

    - "Walk the line and pay the price.
A pound of flesh for paradise." I believe these lines refer to tithing. Parishioners are often forced to pay money to belong to their church. They are paying their pound of flesh for a shot at the paradise offered by the path they are following.

Actually Saddam fooled the world into thinking he had weapons of mass destruction because he thought that was the only thing stopping Iran from invading his country. So in all rights, your a dumb ass .... learn your shit. The song can relate to something of the sort if you'er one of those weird ass conspiracy theorists.

I actually don't know what the song is about, but I did hear in an interview that the song was not written about Bush, but after they were done, they noticed that it related to him well.

That interpretation could be true. My guess is Jesse is talking about a girl that lies a lot.

This song seems to be about the U.S.A and the war in Iraq. And how bush fooled the world with the excuse that they had weapons of mass destruction.
