30 Seconds To Mars: Savior Meaning
Savior Lyrics
Until you burn
Until you lie
Until you learn
Until you see
Until you believe
Until you fight
Until you fall
Until the end of everything at all
Until you die
Until you're alive
Don't save me, don't save me, cuz I don't...

It's about someone who can't decide who they are or someone who's suicidal. They're saying until you've been through all the shit that I have, don't try to comfort or understand me cuz you don't know what I've been through. They don't want to be saved. Then at the end,( my favorite part.) they're like: OK then, try to save me, go ahead, can you? Come on then! And they're pleading to be saved but all the while the voice inside is saying: no, we don't care you don't care why should we? So in the end no one can really understand them to save them and they end with I DON'T CAAAAREEE... It reminds me a lot of myself, but I'm not really suicidal. Even though I have seriously thought about it. It's a last resort for me I think. :')

My interpretation of Savior by Rise Against:
This song follows a man and a woman.
They are just breaking up from a relationship and are talking to each other.
The man seems to forget many things about the woman and she doesn't really like that about him.
They start not loving each other and want to break up, but they are afraid.
Then they get into the break up.
The girl says that she doesn't hate the guy but she just wants to help him.
Then the guy says that he loves her, but he isn't what she wants.
Then they break up and live on with a memory. -
I think this song is about someones journey to something that they think is greater then what there life is now and the people around him/her telling them that this journey has changed who they are. The person on the journey sees no change and if they do they think it's for thew better. This song is that person telling everyone to back off......that they know what they're doing and that all these people don't understand what the main person has been through.

This song could be about love. The speaker is telling about all the negative experiences he's had with being in love (Until you give/Until you've used/Unitl you've lost/Until you use) but also references to the positive experiences he's had (Until you've lived a thousand times/Until you've seen the other side). He has finally recovered from what seems to be a tragic experience for him and then he finds himself falling in love again with a new person. His issues lie with the fact that he may get hurt again just as he was hurt but he knows that he is unable to turn away from the power and captivation of love. He gives in,
(Don't save me/Don't save me/'Cause I don't care)because he just chooses to live in the present with the new love he's found. Likewise he also fears that he may never find love that he found the first time and now he has a second shot at being in love again (This is my chance, this is my chance/I'll take it now because I can/This is my chance, I want it now)
