Adele has said that 'My Same' is about her and her best friend that got in a fight and just recently started talking.
The main viewpoint on this song is their opposing personalities- Adele seems to be the more cautious, conservative one and her best friend seems to be more adventurous and outgoing. What she's saying is that typically, two people with opposite personalities will collide- but somehow, they make it work.
