If you listen to how the song actually sounds, it actually sounds like it's in a happier tune than what the lyrics may suggest. To me it's about giving into things easily and admitting it, but loving it all the same.

i think its struggling with life, whether is love, drugs , alchol, depression, whatever it is, its hard to convince yourself its better off without it.

I think it is about struggling to ward off bad habits and be better. This person wants to stop doing bad things, but he believes that he can not change.
