AJR: Don't Throw Out My Legos Meaning
Song Released: 2019
Don't Throw Out My Legos Lyrics
So I wrote it on the back of my hand
'Cause I leave the nest, this coming December
To make it as a grown man
I'm about to lose my only defenders
I'm packing up whatever I can
Been waiting for today...

#1 top rated interpretation:Don’t Throw Out my Legos is a song about moving out. The LEGOs are a last bit of childhood, which the singer asks his parents not to get rid of. He asks, “What if I can’t let go? What if I come back, no?” fearing that he may not be able to live on his own, and needs the comfort of knowing there is a place to return to if things don’t work out.

I think the song is about growing up. We never truly grow up, we gain our morals and "Don't throw out my legos" is stating that the narrator doesn't want those morals to disappear, like how some people keep something of sentiment from their childhood like a teddy bear or a hair clip. To other people it isn't a big deal but you've basically drowned those items with emotions so throwing them away could be seen as cruel in the eyes of a child

AJR is a good band, And I can relate to some songs not all, And my friends love them too. there very I don't know just cool and unique than other bands and artists. some bands and artists just write songs about love, But AJR no they write about stuff and there live's. A song from AJR I can relate to is Don't trow out my legos. One part of the song I could relate to is this "I can't even go home, go home" see when I'm a child i got taken away from my home, I was taken to my aunt's house, Then my mom's friend's house, And then my father's. I lived with my grandma. all this was caused by a fight. i lived in a park for some day's. It was a hard time, Just hearing that one line makes me know that somebody couldn't go home too! I'm only 12 but Thing's happen, and that's ok! Thank you for reading this also go support Bummerland!
