   It shows that the singer hides most of his problems around people, most likely due to social anxiety ("and I'll scream when no one's around"). The verses highlight this fact when it says what he does ("If you get sad, then I'll feel bad that I told you at all"). He feels like he must hide all of his ugliness.

   The song is about feeling you need to stay happy around others, or you'll dampen the mood. ("Something's wrong/But don't pity me for long/If you get sad then I'll feel bad/That I told you at all")

   To who said " but it does say, "Humpty Dumpty went down, he said screw it I'ma smile right threw it" so I'm not completely sure." It means faking a smile through anxious and if you go to the end you hear"I got shows in a lot of weird places,Wonder if they're gonna come,Depending what my face is..Remember Vegas?    Anyone who thinks this song is about social anxiety is a total and utter idiot. Period. End of story. Nuff said.
   
   This song is clearly a reference, or homage really, to the 1978 hit Egg Me On. In both songs, the singer is clearly not feeling like they can masterbate (in their case, this means jerk off an erect penis) freely until they let their expectations go.

   People frequently think the artist had social anxiety when making this song. I think he had a passion for eggs, hence the humpty dumpty reference. What they don't mention is he too was plagued by a lot of misinformation surrounding the 38 special hit song hold on loosely, which clearly is about handjobs. It is definitely not about love like some idiots posted in 2011. That guy doesnt know his ass from a hole in the ground

   I'm positive that this is about having social anxiety, "Hide behind your pillow, close the window cause you know you can't be seen." "And I'll scream when no one's around." There is many other instances refferening to this. But also I'm not completely sure if this is about suicide, or if it's simply fitting the Humpty Dumpty theme, but it does say, "Humpty Dumpty went down, he said screw it I'ma smile right threw it" so I'm not completely sure.
