AJR: Wow, I'm Not Crazy Meaning
Wow, I'm Not Crazy Lyrics
And get-togethers get me down
But when you talk it's like:
"Wow, I'm not crazy"
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
… Don't kill me, 'cause I'm just the messenger
I already went and took my temperature
And I'm not...

I feel like it is about having someone you like in a world where you are considered to not fit in and getting sad(potentially depressed) because of it

I think this song is about people who feel alienated. The chorus touches on feeling alienated because of your opinions (Frankly, I'm scared of clowns/And get-togethers get me down), but also things like mental illness (And I'm not sick, I took all my vitamins/Yeah, I'm not sick, I'm just kind of different). The bigger message though, is about how there are always others who also feel this way.

Maybe he likes someone and wrote the song for them but it could also be that he finally met someone that understands him. Idk... just a theory.

I feel like it's when everybody thinks you're weird, but then you hear someone talk that's even more insane than you are.
-
I'm new but I think it's frankly just about somebody he likes, hence the, "But when you talk it's like Wow! I'm not crazy!"
