In Loving Memory Lyrics

Thanks for all you've done
I've missed you for so long
I can't believe you're gone
You still live in me
I feel you in the wind
You guide me constantly

I never knew what it was to be alone, no
Cause you were always there for me
You were...

The song is written by Mark Tremonti and it talks about the death of his mother. In an interview with him he said, "There are a lot of themes on this record that are very personal, for example 'In Loving Memory' is about my mother who recently passed away. In terms of purely personal significance, you cannot get any deeper than that. It is definitely a sad, but uplifting song."

This is my fav song of alter bridge because the lyrics is so emotional and deep. It's about losing a loved one and carrying on with life. With each and everything you do reminding you of the times you had with him or her and how somehow their memories live on in your heart.
