Stronger Than Me Lyrics

You should be stronger than me
you been here seven years longer than me
don't you know you're supposed to be the man?
Not pale in comparison to who you think I am

You always wanna talk it through, I don't care
I always have to comfort you,...

Let's not dwell on who this is about, but what.Amy believes men should be mentally and physically stronger, especially ones who have more years of experience. She wants dominance and she wants him to fit into the man leading a woman stereotype. She's tired of having to be the mature one, frustrated of having to constantly man up or take charge.

No! This is not about Blake! This was pre-blake! Ugh! She's referring to an older guy she was with that let her down because she had great expectations and he ended up being a needy mama's boy! And in retrospect she vents her disdain by letting him know that he should have been stronger and how disappointed she was that he couldnt be.

the lyrics in this song are about her relationship with blake, he was 7 years her senior and she is saying that she feels that he doesnt treat her like he should and shes always there for him even though hie isnt there for her.
