Original "Forever Boy" was about Ricky, but then after they split up she released Knew Better Part 2, which is about her split with Ricky and moving on with Mac Miller, at which point maybe Mac was the new Forever Boy. And the original Knew Better is about Big Sean only I think, how she's moving on and flaunting her happiness with her new man into her ex. Ari has realised her worth and is moving on from a man who doesn't treat her as well as she expects.

Knew better: I think this means that she loved him, but he didnt do everthing she wanted him to do. And forever boy is about Mac i think. How she always couldnt keep a long term relationship, but he was different.
