From the song itself i always thought it was about being uncontrollably toxic/harmful to people and trying to cope with it. Watching the video though im pretty sure it was about an uncontrollable addiction to drugs. I wonder if the girl was the addict and not Danny (video paired with the lyrics "Ill be the end of her, im in her head and in control" etc)

i believe it is about what happened to him in seattle and that he was stuck in a battle with constantly intoxicating himself with drugs and alcohol all the time, and he made a shit show of himself at the show in seattle and the gutarist ben bruce asked for the crowd to support danny going to rehab, and he did. which is also why his voice changed dramatically from the first to second albums.

If you see the video you know that danny gets drugged and dies... I think the song is pretty straight forward, but in the video. I think the girl represents addiction and how fun if is at the begining(making out, sex) and how it can kill you like danny.

This song is about how people use drugs to get what they want from you and simetimes it leads to death
