I Was Here Lyrics

I wanna leave my footprints on the sands of time
Know there was something that and something that
I left behind
When I leave this world, I'll leave no regrets
Did something to remember so they won't forget

I was here
I lived, I loved
I...

life is about being remembered for the positive impacts that you have had others in the world and the things you have done to make it a better place rather than how rich, famous or successful you were. we should live life to the fullest so we don't have any regrets and that means that when we have the chance to do good and choose not to because of its "inconvenience" in our lives, that will remain with us and is not the piece of ourselves that we wish to leave behind on this earth.

This song makes me think of how valuable life is and how we all impact the world somehow. The first time I heard this song I happen to be fixing a album filled with pictures of my childhood to now.We all start life looking for meaning as to why were here and end life knowing our purpose.

This song just puts me deep in my feelings , it really makes me think about my grandma and how she did everything she wanted to do and she was here. She saw me grow up and she saw most of her gran kids before she died. I feel like she left a good legacy for the rest of her kids and she touched lives. Such a special , and talented women of God

I think the song is about 9/11 and how grateful we should be about life as it ends so quick.

The whole humanitarian aspect where we see that she encourages humanity in us to help out where we can to do something worthwhile for our society and the world entirety.

I think that the meaning is that she wants to show what she has done (not she as in "OMG Beyonce, you're my idol!" But she as in her as a person) she wants to show that you should do good in your life so you are remembered. I also think she is telling us to remember those who had passed before us.

this song is just emphasising on the fact that she wants to do positive things in pple's 4 them 2 always rememba she was here, nd she has achieved to point of more than what she thought, but she stil wants 2 do more.
The 2nd verse was teling us dat d way she wants pple 2 rememba her is dat she touched lifes. :D
