This catchy fun song is not about materialism and getting gifts from your man; the ring is symbolic of treating a woman with love and respect and commitment, and not being selfish and taking her for granted.

I think to have this song to come out on June 6. But it’s early in the year but we have plenty of time. My friends are writing that song in that song. My producer would be Stephen case, he graduated from 2019, but he’s so nice and incredibly awesome. I love him very much, he helped us with guitar solos.

The respect for the woman’s . If you love her then marry her.

It's actually a parody of feminism. The singer claims that because she and her boyfriend have dated for "three long years" without marriage that she is justified to sleep around with other men. She "decided to dip" and now he is unhappy that she's flirting with other men. The line "I'm up on him, he's up on me, don't pay him any attention" shows that she believes that since they aren't married, she is free to physically engage other men, and that its not something her boyfriend needs to know about.basically, he caught her cheating and she is trying to blame him for her own infidelity.
-
The man was not willing to marry Beyoncé even though he liked her, and now she is moving on to someone else who is ready. She is basically saying that she will not be with someone who cannot commit to her. "If you like it, then you should've put a ring on it"
-
True! It's the guys to put the ring on it. The guy is the one who makes the move. He is the one who proposes. Most women all over the world wants to have a ring on their finger because it symbolizes the undying love and eternal love of the man. It means his love for the woman will be forever. What is the reason why girls enter into a relationship? Not really for the emotional and physical aspect. The main reason is because of love. Girls or guys will be a hypocrite if they only enter a relationship for fun, physical. emotional, etc. They enter a relationship because they see the person in their future and they want them to be their better half. I believe majority of the women wants their boyfriend to propose and ask their hand for marriage. Girls believe in what they want and knows what they want when it comes to love.

I appreciate the confidence Beyonce portrays in saying it’s the guys job to ‘put a ring on it’ when they see something they want, it brings her above someone that is not confident in themselves and let’s someone walk on them or drag them along for the emotional and/or physical ride; I like to see someone who believes in what they want, and knows what they want for that matter. She is comfortable in her own body and dances well in heels. What a star!
