    I think this song is about escaping the 'norm' of life you know? Like, running away from what everyone thinks you are or wants you to be, so that you can just do what you want or need to find who you are and who you wanna be. *And it doesn't hurt to take a friend/group or friends along for the ride either*

    I think this song is about not conforming and being able to be whoever you want to be...

    Like someone said previously.. its about defying authority.. [hence why i love it so much.. hehe.]

    This song is totally about escaping your problems and enjoying life. We can't keep what happend in the past get to us. We gotta live and enjoy ourselves before its too late. This is all about defying authority! Live your life how you want, don't let some old dude tell you what to do!

    It sounds to me as though this song is about the night of graduation, and how it is their final opportunity to have a good, carefree time just hanging out before they enter the real world. This is interesting because the graduation theme at my school for this year is "The Gr8 Escape."
