Britney Spears: I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman Meaning
Song Released: 2002
I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman Lyrics
-
This song is very meaningful everything about it is heart and soul. Others may say that the lyrics are rather silly although they are sang from the heart and this is all that the heart can make. She sings it with soul and if you close your eyes and actually listen to the song consentrating only on the song you can feel everything that is going into it. It means that all her life she has been looked after, been overprotected even though one of those days she decided that she wanted to grow up but no one would let her free. She wanted a look at the real world and wanted to see all that she could cope with and she thought she would have been walking into a new life. Freedom in her life and all that she needed was that extra push. This song means a lot more than people make it out to be.
