Bruno Mars: Marry You Meaning
Marry You Lyrics
We're looking for something dumb to do.
Hey baby,
I think I wanna marry you.
Is it the look in your eyes,
Or is it this dancing juice?
Who cares baby,
I think I wanna marry you.
Well I know this little chapel...

#1 top rated interpretation:It's that feeling when you'rein Vegas, and you've had way too many drinks, and you love everybody, and you want to do something that you probably shouldn't do and you'll regret in the morning. We wanted to capture that feeling and put it in a song" - said by bruno mars himself in an interview

3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:It's about a guy and girl who've had too much "dancing juice" (ie., drunk) and the guy suggests "something dumb to do. Hey, baby, I think I wanna marry you."
So they do a quickie wedding in "this chapel on the boulevard."
And then they break up the next day and its okay because he says "if you wake up and you want to break up, that's cool. No, I won't blame you. It was fun, girl."
In a nutshell, it's a about two people who get drunk and have a quickie wedding somewhere like Vegas.
It's not a romantic song. So, please don't play it to propose or at your wedding. -
Its a about a boy whose in love and drunk, his trying to take advantage of the moment. His trying to convince this practical and sensible drunk girl to marry him before her sense return. Basically his like, i know you have a sensible brain, but let's do something dump today ,no one needs to know. if you wake up and regret it, the is no problem, but let's live in the moment, be spontaneous and get married today.

I love the song but it's about a guy who can't commit and just wants to live in the moment
-
it abt a person getting married to a burrito, obviously. ya nerds.
-
My interpretation for this song is about two people who are in love at a young age and want to get married young and if they break up he would understand because they were young when they did it and they have the rest of their lives to try again with someone else.
-
I think it's about spontaneity- a guy is holding his girl's hand; they're young; crazy about each other; living in the moment... It's how when you're young, you can acheive a freedom...
But it also has a negative connotation.
He seems to lack commitment, and has doubts about the future...
the earlier one was mine from my iPhone. -

It's about a guy,by listening to the song you can refer that he wants to get married,he talks about waking up and them breaking up and saying its cool. so basically its about a boy who wants fun and a true love
-
I think its about a guy who just wants to have fun .
