Blown Away Lyrics
Those storm clouds gather in her eyes
Her daddy was a mean old mister
Mama was an angel in the ground
The weatherman called for a twister
She prayed blow it down
There's not enough rain in Oklahoma
To...

this song is about a girl who lives with her abusive drunkin father. when she hears of the tornadeo she leaves her dad passed out on the couch and locks herself in the cellar.
she hopes that the tornadeo rips everything out of that house. she wants revenger of all the things her father has done like kill her mother,
she wants to start a better life and forget about her horrible past. -
The song is anout an abusive alcoholic dad who lives in Oclahoma with his daughter as he has killed his wife because of the drinking problems he is facing…Her mother is described as an ‘angel’ so we can assume she had done nothing wrong to deserve to be treated abusively by her husband. We don’t know whether his daughter was abused too or she had just witnessed his cruel behaviour towards her mother and finally her death caused by him.The rain that drops from the sky is not capable enough to wash away the sorrow and misery inside that house. So when a tornado is coming , she locks herself in the cellar in order to survive and abandons her dad who has passed away on the couch (he has passed away obviously due to drinking problems) and she wishes he would die… in this way she will be able to forget of her bitter past inside that house full of her father’s sins. And ‘nothing will be left of yesterday’…
-
Her mother died and she is left with father who is a drunk. And there a twister coming and she hopes that it will take all the bad memories away that she has been living with. Everyone else is scared of the tornado but she is glad it's coming.
-
a young girl, has mother who dies and she now belongs to her abbusive and alcoholic father.. she goes and gets in their cellar and leaves her dad to be carried away with the house by a tornado.

Her father is an alcoholic and abusive. The storm represents her fathers' fury. When storm warnings come she goes to the cellar and leaves her drunk father on the couch.
-
A young girl lives with her sexually abusive alcoholic father and her mother is dead and a tornado comes in and she wishes that it will kill her dad and take the house apart. she saves her self and leaves her dad to die.
-
The song is basically saying that there is a tornado and she hides in her family's cellar, while her abusive alcoholic father is asleep in the house, and she hopes he gets killed in the storm... Hope that helped!!! Just listen to the song carefully.. :)
