Songs about Heaven
As David Lynch fans know, everything is fine in Heaven because you've got your good things and I've got mine. OK, maybe not the best example, but that's the first thing many people think of. These songs are about the supposed afterlife, assuming a benevolent deity or otherwise amicable universe. And not a Discordian one, or a Lovecraftian one, or anything else that generally goes along with the reality of existence so far.
What is Heaven? That's a different answer for everyone, but these songs make comparisons with love, paradise, and general ecstatic states of joyful existence. Actual fluffy clouds and halos are optional. Even Nirvana - the state of being, not the band - counts.
