    This song is about growing up as an Aro-ace Transgender child. You feel like a snail because you feel as if you're growing up slower than everyone else. "But I don't wanna be a kid who was born like this" is most likely a hint to how Robbie felt. Not comfortable in his own body, not comfortable in his own shell.
