Hearshot Kid Disaster Lyrics

Still searching for your call today sit down, and structure will you be the engineer?
still tired and dreaming out against and overboard
when pain kills you'll hate me and wait for or
then call me crazy and pretend I left us discontent and...

Well in the comic books (which I am currently reading) the Star Cecil reveals to Claudio that the Stars are calling the Star who died on the ship fighting and trying to escape is now called "The Hearshot Kid." So at least part of the song refers to that. I do think that part of the song is also Ryan and Mayo talking. Mayo being the "I won't fail you now..." just the way I see it but the Hearshot Kid, he is definitely a Star. The comic book leaves no ambiguity about that. :)

hmm well in the comics of which most of claudio sanchezs songs are based around ( i just read them last night) there is a race of people like things refered to as the "stars" and theyre used as slaves on shylos ten and their souls fed into the keywork. the star named cecil clearly states that there was a sort of mini uprising by a star who took on 5 guards and is now known as the hearshot kid, as a hero. so i cant see anything else this song could be about =] but i could be wrong. i dunno. im just going off the comics =D

Thats all very interesting but looking at the comics and seeing where the lyrics coincide with the dialogue i have a theory. The speaker of this story is Ryan in House Atlantic wondering and mocking the existence of God (president), and searching for claudio. He calls Mayo who failed him because he let claudio escape and learn about the taking of his parents and trickery (making him the h...earshot kid) This is a disaster for the Ryan's plan. I have heard many theories about claudio's references to ships and fire and sleep. Sleep=death. Fire=destruction or new beginning. Ship=the keywork. (captain send the sos, overboard) New Mexico-Area 51 is where all the secrets are hidden. I've never heard of the star race feeding the keywork but i'm not ridiculing.

    Actually, this ain't right IMO

The Hearshot Kid Disaster takes place on Shylos ten, where the sub-species known as "Stars" are being murdered and then their souls are being used to power the keywork.

The Hearshot Kid is a Star who tried to escaped and was brutally murdered by Ryan's red army. We hear this from the Star Cecil, which is where the Shabutie song "Star Cecil" comes from

(Now I don't know how important it is when certain stuff happens during certain songs, seeing as how we’re supposed to be analyzing the story and not song by song, but regardless, the ship does crash on Earth around this song.)

The E-Ven transport has crashed onto Earth. Hysteria is still going on for everyone who was on the ship, and seeing as how the flies have been released by now, all of Earth is in hysteria as well. Mayo, Coheed, and Cambria have all survived the crash. Coheed gets infected with the ciache, sees Cambria in extreme agony, which releases the monstar virus inside of Coheed, which in turn disconnects, not only Earth, but the entire sector 12 from the Keywork. Wilhelm Ryan had hoped to kill Mariah Antillarea by the release of the monstar virus, but didn’t.
