Coldplay: O Meaning
O Lyrics
Hovering above
Just a flock of birds
It's how you think of love
And I always
Look up to the sky
Pray before the dawn
'Cause they fly always
Sometimes they arrive
Sometimes they are gone
They fly on
Flock of...

I thought it was about love too however now that I've listened to it more often I think it's about dying.
I first thought that it was about love due to the fact that he said: 'It's how you think of love'. But he also says that they come and go (like people you meet in life) and that maybe one day i'll fly next to you refers to being with that person in heaven. I'm not entirely sure but that's my interpretation. I personally would've liked it more if it was about love so I still try to think of it that way (because I am having troubles getting into a relationship and really want her but I am 99% confident that that same feeling isn't the other way around. Anyway I hope any other people can confirm what the exact meaning is of this song since i'd be interested to know.
(sorry for any grammer mistakes made, english isn't my first language). -
This song has different meaning behind rather than just about birds. "It's how you think of love" proves this point. The "flock of birds" is your love interest, sometimes it arrives, sometimes it is gone, but it always flies on.
"Maybe one day I'll come fly with you" could mean flying with someone else in love.
