Deftones - Diamond Eyes Meaning

I think its about two partners who love each other but have different desires in the bedroom. The music video portrays Ishtar, the Babylonian and Mesopotamian goddess of fertility, sex and love. This interpretation can be backed up by the opening line: "To the edge, 'til we all get off".
The chorus states how much they love each other and that their desires will meet up in the future ("Time will see us realign) and how beautiful that moment will be (Diamonds rain across the sky). The last line of the chorus seems to indicate that they are both willing to experiment with the others desires and that in time they will both come to love each other's desires("Shower me into the same realm/Time will lead us to the same realm/I will lead us to the same realm") -
i bet it means being sad like when your crying your eyes look like looking at a diamond that is why it is called "diamond eyes"
