Deftones: Passenger Meaning
Passenger Lyrics
Still and breathless
Just like always
Still I want some more
Mirrors sideways
Who cares what's behind
Just like always
Still your passenger
Chrome buttons, buckles and leather surfaces
These and other lucky witnesses
Now to...

This song (along with many others in white pony) is about sex and murder. This one in specific is about a girl fucking a dead body in an open car, the lyric "here i lay still and breathless" is speaking from a dead mans perspective and the other lyrics about rolling the windows down is because who cares you are already doing something horrific why not just show the world you dont give a fuck.

My interpretation while it may not be what the writer intended is a back and forth relationship. “Still I want some more” “Who cares what’s behind, just like always, still your passenger.”
“Roll the window down, this cool night air is curious” to me says, let me in again, I’m curious to see how things will go this time.
“Let the whole world look in, who cares who sees anything?” People in their lives disagreeing with their decision to get involved with each other again.
“Roll these misty windows down to catch my breath again” The relationship can become foggy and uneasy at times. He needs an escape again.
“Go and go and go just drive me home and back again.” He wants out but he know he’s just going to end up in the relationship again eventually. -
