Demi Lovato: Every Time You Lie Meaning
Every Time You Lie Lyrics
That it wasn't gonna work
I tried to cry myself to sleep
'Cause it was supposed to hurt
We sat next to the fire
As the flame was burning out
I knew what you were thinking
Before you'd say it aloud
Don't say...

This song is about a girl who was cheated by his boyfriend, well 'cause she knew right away and demi lovato's said in song.. You still love her i can see it in your eyes the truth is all that i can hear '' Every time you lie''
-
This song is about how Demi's boyfriend wasn't over his ex, and she saw it. "You still love her, i can see it in your eyes" so when he broke up with her, she wasn't upset, she actually saw it coming. And she won't listen to his lies when he tries to tell her otherwise
-
I dont think that its about selena gomez..
I mean come on, listen the song read the lyrics..
Its about a guy who cheated her.. -
this song can be in two ways.demi takes the song and tries to make it sound like its about a uy brake up and stuff but really its about selena gomez, they were sapossed to be besties and she lied to her alot so the line "a long list oh gentelmen happy to take your place" its about how demi has more then 1 friend selena she has a long list and dosent need selenas bs
-
What I have heard, is that it was about Selena Gomez & that she would always lie to Demi & just make up different stories. This song was to tell her she's not going to put up with Selena & her lies anymore. But, what I feel what it REALLY means, is that some guy hurt her so bad & lies to her all the time & she's fed up with it & needs a new man. Because "Long List Of Gentleman Ready To Take Your Place". It couldn't be about Selena, because she's not a gentleman. So that's my interpretation. :)
