Foo Fighters: Big Me Meaning
Song Released: 1996
Big Me Lyrics
it carries on
reasons only knew
when I talk about it
Aries or treasons
all renew
big me to talk about it
I could stand to prove
if we can get around it
I know that it's true
when I talked...
-
Its about me and how big I am. Yeah its you, i fell into...because youre too big to carry. Its treasonous.
-
It was about being over nirvana and the death of Kurt and his promise to his wife who helped him.get over it that he was puting it in his past.
-
I have no idea what Big Me is about. Apparantly noone else does either. Even Dave Grohl
-
I think it's about a young boy, 15-16, who has a crush on a girl. But he doesn't think that she likes him, so he doesn't confront anything and let's it go.
It's pretty deep. -
Boy meets girl, boy falls in love, girl tells boy to fuck off.
-
Grohl also said that the inspiration for the song came from watching his young nephew eat dead caterpillars and make gargling sounds when enough of them were in his throat. he said that he would often chuckle as the youngster gasped and thrashed about, and he would write music which reminded him of the child's bizarre antics.
-
Dave grohl in concert in vancouver in early 2000's said he loved playing this song the most because it didn't have any significant meaning and people loved to over analize it.
