Goo Goo Dolls: Better Days Meaning
Song Released: 2005
Better Days Lyrics
And I try to make this kind and clear
Just a chance that maybe we'll find
Better Days
Cause I don't need boxes wrapped in strings
Or desire to love or empty things
Just a chance that maybe we'll...

It's a contemporary Christmas song and points out, among other things, the problem of abortion, poverty, or broken homes - "ten million more who probably could". If these scourges of humanity were gone, we would have better days, how many children have been stopped from making the world better.

I know this song is about Jesus, the poor baby who saved the world. It's about all of us waiting to find Him, waiting for Him to break into our empty lives and give us what He promised in the Bible.
Life, abundantly (better days). -
I believe this song is about someone who can only hope for "better days" meaning when it all comes down to it, items and objects will soon fade away but the emotional appeal inside will stay. If it all comes down to it, just give him days with happiness and forget the objects, money, and items for once.
