Born and raised and still living in Buffalo I can tell you we have a Broadway here too and it's a pretty long street. We're one of the old "rust belt" cities. A lot of factories on Broadway and that general area, along with bars and churches, in that neighborhood. John lived in that area - working class, traditional, Polish Catholics, etc, It's a lot different today. But that's what it's about - the people, the different kinds of people, places. John grew up with.
