This is a letter to Joel and Benji's dad who abandoned them on Christmas Day when they were kids and they never heard from him again. The family went through a really tough time after he left both emotionally and financially.

This song helped me and my sister a lot. Our dad had an affair on our mother and they then got a divorce. Our mom was horribly depressed for a long time and my sister and I couldn't bring ourselves to forgive him.
