    It's about being cheated on and trying to accept it. It feels like a bad dream but it's reality.

    Bad dream is a song about how Kesha has a major crush on someone or she is in love with a guy, however she feels like it is pointless to keep obsessing and dreaming over him because she feels like she will never be with him, or she feels like he is bad news since she states she felt his lies, however she keeps dreaming about him and obsessing about his presence based on how she keeps stating "Tell me I'm having just a bad dream tonight."
