Golden is the fourth studio album by the American Country music trio Lady Antebellum. It was released on May 7, 2013, in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand and May 6, 2013, in Europe and South Africa.[1]
The album was preceded in January 2013 by lead single "Downtown", which peaked at number two on the Hot Country Songs chart and at number one on US Country Airplay. On April 16, the track "Goodbye Town" was released to iTunes as a promotional single for fans who pre-order Golden.[2] The band has described "Goodbye Town" as "one of [their] favorite productions" on the record.[3] It was released as the album's second single on May 13, 2013.
