   Chester is explaining how nobody can save him. Cause only he can save him. And he's been looking for the answers to his problems but the answers were within him. And even though he's been forgiven and told it will be alright. The problem lies within his mind and his struggles with addiction and overcoming his past. So he's basically saying there are metaphorical demons in his head that are trying to make him relapse and they're reminding him of his past which is causing him great distress. And nobody could save him from them/himself... R.I.P

   I interpreted it a little differently, to me the lyric, I wanna fall wide awake now, is him saying that his eyes have been closed for so long and he's been to busy looking into his past. That he wants to fall head first into the future wide awake. The overall theme of the song to me repentance for allowing the past to hold you back from your future and knowing that only you can save yourself.
   
   I relate it to my recent experience as I have become a born again Christian and am leaving behind alcohol and addiction. Facing the hurt you once caused others is a lot at times so you just have to fall wide awake into a future where hopefully you have learned from your past.

   Falling wide awake ,He was talking about falling into death and waking up on the other side,"tell me it's alright, tell me you forgive me" here's he's talking to God when he gets there

   this song was about chester wanting to end his life after going through so many horrible things and me being 18 years old i idolized him i respected him his songs made me feel that i was not the only one out there who had went through bad things. RIP chester

   my interpretation is that chester has a problem with his mind. His mind tells him negative stuff (demons) and chester is really tired of that, he tried to search a solution outside of himself (maybe drugs or just bad coping habits), but he don't want to surrender because he doesn't want others because of him. And finally he realizes that the solution was inside of him all along (maybe self-love or something like that).

   I think Chester was talking about his self, his struggle with domestic violence and abuse as a kid, his struggle with addiction as a rockstar.......I love Chester, he was a realist

    I had a different interpretation of the song than most did, it has a varying meaning but it seems to be about giving up and wanting to be forgiven, because nobody can save him, but knowing that only he can save himself.
