Louis Tomlinson: Fearless Meaning
Fearless Lyrics
Tell me the truth, tell me, do you still remember feelin' young
And strong enough to get it wrong in front of all these people?
Just for tonight, look inside and spark that memory...
-
I think its about zayn malik. I could be wrong, but in the song it says "a suit and tie,a second wife" and zayn has been engaged twice. We know that zayn and louis were really close in the band and I almost see this song as a way for louis to talk to zayn about their memories they made before they got hurt by the management and public. Of course, just a theory, but this is who I immediately thought of when I first heard the song.

It is about growing up and how when you become older you start overthinking and feeling more insecure

I think that this song is about his relationship with Harry Styles
Because when he says "for a suit and tie a second wife" in the first verse he's making it very obvious that he's talking about a man and NOT about a woman.
Then in the chorus he sings: "Tell me do you still remember feeling young. Strong enough to get it wrong in front of all these people." This could be the first hint to Harry because Louis could be referring to the time in 2010 - 2012 in which they were really close to each other in public.
In the second verse he sings:" Now if happiness is always measured by the life that you design. That car on the drive. Then you should feel better than ever. But you know as well as I. IT'S ALL LIES." He's singing about the other person's "perfect" relationship that in reality is not even true or as perfect as it looks from the outside. This could be seen as a hint to all their puplic stunts that were supposed to look perfect to the fans but behind closed doors weren't.
Of course everyone can see this song in a different way but that is just my personal opinion. -
I think it is about Harry you know, when he says « tell me do you still remember feeling young ». Of course I’m not sure, but it is what si think.
