Louis Tomlinson: The Greatest Meaning
The Greatest Lyrics
Nothing could make me late
Said I had a plan for us
Time, it came and changed it all
We had to disappear
’Cause nothing gets through here
Through that circle 'round my heart
Where the best of me should start
I said...

i feel like this song was written about us fans and the relationship between louis and louies. "Said I had a plan for us
Time, it camed and changed it all"
We had to disappear" may be referring to how covid stopped his tour and stuff.
"I said you know me
Alone, we're only
Just as good as the rest
Together we're the greatest"- pretty self explanatory i think.
"The way you know something
Your face reminded me
Of a love you cannot hide
But don't need to tell me why"- could be referring to larry maybe???? or how we love him?
in general, i think its just him saying that we together- fans and artist- are strong, ,,we ll never be that cold again", cause we are one group now,"It's you and me until the end
Life for us it's never over"- similiar to silver tongues. its a pretty sweet song if you interpret it that way. we all know that he loves his fans, i feel like writing a song about this is something louis would definitely do. " I NEED YOU AND YOU NEED ME!" -
I feel like the greatest is written about One Direction. They were the best in their prime. If all five of them got back together for a reunion tour or even better made another album or another song, people all over the world with explode. I love them.
